Shipping & Pick Up Information



We do not pack with ice and therefore ship only during the cooler weather months beginning November 1st – February 28th

  • We ship only to the continental US
  • We cannot ship to PO Boxes.
  • Orders are generally shipped out 1 day after your order is received during the Holidays
  • Orders can take up to 3 business days to ship outside of the Holidays.

 Shipping Rates

We offer shipping through either USPS (US Postal Service) or UPS.  Overnight shipping is not offered, as we do not guarantee that a particular product will be ready in one day.  Please call if you would like that option, as we may be able to accommodate your request.  

We also offer a $12 flat rate option which acts as a cap on our shipping rates.  These packages will be sent by the most economical service available at the time.

Do you Guarantee Delivery Dates and Time? 
Winter storms, hurricanes, flooding; these are just a few reasons why there may be delivery delays. Because there are some forces of nature that are out of our hands, we cannot guarantee delivery times once your order is out for delivery.

How do I track my order?
When your order ships, you will receive an email which includes your tracking number. If you have trouble tracking your order, please give us a call and we can assist you.

Is ice included?
We do not include ice packs.  Therefore, we limit our shipping to winter months. If you have concerns, please call and we can see if there is something we can do (i.e. delay shipping until uncharacteristic weather passes).

Other Helpful Tidbits About Shipping

Please double-check shipping addresses(es) before submitting your order. Hofssi Chocolates cannot be responsible for orders delayed or returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses.

We realize that you may want to send a gift as a surprise. However, in order to prevent delays, we recommend you notify the recipient of the shipment prior to arrival. Also, we encourage you to include a gift note at checkout (for no additional fee) so that your recipient knows to thank you.

Shipping is not discounted when a product discount promotion is applied.

If you notice an error on your order, please notify by calling 510-447-0401 as soon as possible. We will make every effort to fix the error before your order is shipped.
